Cambodia joins the Six Senses collection of incredible destinations

Share

The portfolio of inspiring destinations that create the settings for Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas is planned to expand to an exciting island location in Cambodia, a country steeped in history and reemerging onto the world stage of exotic destinations. The luxury hospitality group, which is committed to community, sustainability and wellness, is scheduled to make its debut on Sihanoukville’s Krabey Island in 2017 with Six Senses Krabey Island.

The resort will be comprised of 40 pool villas built using sustainable materials and set around the naturally landscaped 30-acre island. All units will feature separate bedrooms and living rooms, bathtubs, private plunge pools and outdoor decks. Guests will arrive at the mainland reception before the short water transfer to the island.

Though pleasantly remote, the resort will still be easily accessible. Sihanoukville Airport is less than a 10-minute drive from the mainland jetty, Phnom Penh International Airport is a 3.5-hour drive and Siem Reap International Airport is a scenic 8.5 hours away. Sihanoukville Airport has domestic as well as international flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, and also has the capability to facilitate international private jets and helicopters.
